What Our Warranty Does Not Cover Our warranty excludes certain conditions caused by normal use, misuse, or accidents. These exclusions include:
  • Wear & Tear: Natural aging or wear over time.
  • Bent or Broken Prongs: Damage to prongs due to external impacts.
  • Discoloration: Changes in color caused by exposure to chemicals, cosmetics, or environmental factors.
  • Lost Stones or Pearls: The warranty does not cover the loss of gemstones, pearls, or any backing components.
  • Broken Clasps & Links: Damage to clasps or missing links as a result of regular use.
  • Unauthorized Repairs: Any repair or alteration performed by unauthorized service providers will void the warranty.
  • Theft or Loss: The warranty does not cover theft, misplacement, or the mysterious disappearance of your item.
  • Transfer of Ownership: The warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original owner.
How to Utilize Your Complimentary 2-Year & Extended Warranty
If you need to request a repair or service under our warranty, follow these simple steps:
  1. Contact Us: Email ClientServices@KristienSurya.com with your proof of purchase and warranty details to initiate a repair or service request.
  2. Shipping Responsibility: Clients are responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return of the item.
  3. Lost or Damaged Packages: Kristien Surya is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. Please ensure your package is securely packaged.
  4. Do Not Use Envelopes: Please do not use envelopes to pack your jewelry, as this may damage or bend the pieces. Any item requiring service that is shipped in an envelope will be rejected.
  5. Tracking Information: Once shipped, email your tracking number, order number, and warranty information to ClientServices@KristienSurya.com. We will monitor your package and notify you upon its arrival.
Rest assured, if the service you require falls outside the coverage of our complimentary warranty, we will provide a fair and transparent pricing structure for those services. We will only proceed with any repairs or services once we have mutually agreed upon the cost.
   
Terms & Conditions 
1. Coverage
  • This warranty covers:
    • Manufacturing defects, including loose gemstones, faulty clasps, and issues with the metalwork.
    • The structural integrity of the jewelry under normal wear conditions.
  • It applies exclusively to products purchased directly from Kristien Surya or authorized retailers.
2. Exclusions
  • The warranty does not cover:
    • Wear and tear from normal use, such as scratches, tarnishing, and fading.
    • Damage resulting from accidents, improper care, or misuse.
    • Loss of gemstones. However, we understand the importance of your jewelry; we will charge a reasonable price for replacement and strive to restore your piece to look like new again.
    • Alterations made by unauthorized third-party jewelers, which void the warranty.
3. Warranty Period
  • Our Extended Warranty provides up to 12 years of coverage (which includes the complimentary 2-year warranty and an additional 10 years). This ensures your jewelry is protected from manufacturing defects for an extended period, offering peace of mind and lasting value from the date of purchase.
4. Claim Process
  • To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
    1. Contact Customer Service: Reach out to our customer service team at ClientServices@KristienSurya.com to report the issue and request a warranty claim form.
    2. Complete the Warranty Claim Form: Fill out the form with details of the defect and attach a copy of your proof of purchase.
    3. Ship the Product: Carefully package the item to prevent damage during transit. Do not use an envelope for shipping, as this may harm the jewelry. Instead, utilize a sturdy box for safe delivery. Include the completed warranty claim form and any requested documentation. You are responsible for shipping costs, and we recommend insuring the package.

5. Assessment and Repair
  • Upon receiving your item, our warranty team will assess the issue.

  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
  • Kristien Surya reserves the right to change the warranty terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. However, any changes will not affect warranties already in effect.
7. Liability
  • Kristien Surya is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Governing Law
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California.
